Excellent article. We have just returned from a brilliant holiday in Santorini. The Red Beach is definitely worth visiting but the path might be a challenge for anyone with mobility issues. The nearby village of Akrotiri is very attractive with superb views. The archaeological site is fascinating and worth visiting. I agree that there are better beaches elsewhere in Santorini - our favourite is Kamari which is an excellent place to relax.
